Why are you located in the country?

Our large barn provides a wonderful setting allowing us to display our products effectively. We have plenty of free, parking adjacent to the barn making trying prams and car seats in the car, quick and easy. Some space is undercover so we can stay dry when the rain comes down. Our business costs are lower than those on the high street allowing us to offer you the very best prices on the products we sell. It is lovely and quiet, with no traffic jams, which means that it takes no longer to get to us from the outskirts of Colchester than it does driving and parking in the centre of the town! You also arrive relaxed and ready to shop.


Why don’t you sell on the internet?

That is a very interesting question and one we have given much consideration to. The internet has many advantages but buying for your baby is very personal, very exciting and very important. The decisions you make on how to spend your money stay with you for several years. It is good to get it right. We believe you need to see and feel the products, understand them properly and be sure you are making informed choices. Buying for your new baby is exciting and the personal touch makes a huge difference. Sometimes one can have a problem and the after sales support we offer can reduce the stress of resolving an issue at a time when you may be feeling pressurised. We understand how you feel, our relationship with our suppliers is good and we will do our very best to resolve a problem quickly.


Why do you use some manufacturers and not others?

Throughout the fourteen years we have been trading (previously as nippers) we have identified suppliers who manufacturer quality products and who supply what they say they will when they say they will and who offer good support. We choose to work closely with these suppliers secure in the knowledge that we are offering you the best products on the market.
